Finding New Hope in the New year
Finding New Hope in The New Year
Like many of you, we have been looking forward to putting the challenges of 2020 behind us and embracing the hope and optimism of a new year. Tragically, that optimism was rocked last week as we witnessed the shocking and heartbreaking assault on our nation’s Capitol building.
Now, more than ever, we are reminded that our communities are a place of shelter during times of uncertainty and sorrow. We are bolstered by the knowledge that the leaders, faculty, and staff within our institutions of higher education remain dedicated to educating our students and empowering them with the voices they need to bring positive leadership and change to our world. We are humbled to play a small role in this very important work.
Our optimism was shaken, but it was not destroyed. We remain committed to elevating the principles of community, collaboration, and support and we will continue to work tirelessly to help our educational partners do the same.
Take care of yourself and take care of each other.
